Turkish Strategic Alliance
The nation of Turkey is possibly the most unreached nation in the world. Spanning both the continents of Europe and Asia, it is a geographical, cultural and spiritual bridge between the Christian West and the Muslim Middle East.
Known as “Asia Minor” in the New Testament, Turkey was traveled widely by the apostle Paul, in his ancient home in Tarsus, Antioch, Ephesus and Colossae. Noah's Ark is said to rest in Turkey, and the land has a long-standing Christian heritage.
Today, the 72 million Turks are 99.994% Muslim. Turkey, the only secular-Muslim nation in the world, has legal openings for the gospel. Gospel workers have been persecuted, but the people are open to hearing about Christ.
