The Thai Strategic Alliance
Thailand is a country of amazing beauty and tragic despair. From the street bazaars of beautiful silks and smiling people, to the hidden brothels of children forced into prostitution and slavery, Thailand is a nation of stark contrasts. Almost entirely Buddhist, Thailand’s culture and religion are wrought with rituals and procedures with many young people lost between their father’s religion and the deep changes of globalization.
Christian workers in Thailand share the love and mercy of God in a variety of ways, and are met with a genuine openness to the good news of Jesus.
Opportunities: Musicians/Bands, orphanages, refugees, short-term teams, Coffee House/Milk shop ministry, recovering prostitutes/street girls, English teaching, sports ministry, and kids ministry.
