What is Youth With A Mission?
Youth With A Mission is an international missions movement of Christ Followers, who are dedicated to sharing the gospel throughout the world. Also known as YWAM, (pronounced "why-wam"), our calling is to know God and to make Him known. For more info on YWAM International, go to http://www.ywam.org.
Who is YWAM Strategic Frontiers?
We are a YWAM community located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We work around the world in the nations of the 10/40 Window. Our ministry focuses on the 2.1 billion people who have no access to the gospel.
What countries do you work in?
We work with the Body of Christ all over the world, helping Christ Followers to be involved in missions. Our focus is on the nations of the 10/40 Window (from Northern Africa across the Middle East and all of Asia).
Is YWAM only for “youth”?
Back when we began in 1960, our main focus was to get youth into short-term mission work and to give them opportunities to reach out in Jesus' name. Today, we still focus on youth, and we also involve people of almost every age (even many people who choose to spend their "retirement" in active service), from over 130 countries.

How do I join YWAM?
To join full-time staff, the first step is to do a DTS. You can be involved on a short-term trip, as a student, or short-term volunteer, anytime.
Can families join YWAM?
We actively live out our value that when God calls Mom or Dad into missions, He calls the whole family. Our DTS is "family friendly" and multigenerational. We also run a Crossroad DTS for families, couples and mature singles (over 30). We have a pre-school and nursery on campus, and we run a Foundations School (like a DTS for kids!) once a year. Children are a vital part of ministry times and outreach.
